It’s summer time in Baltimore and Pastry Chef Denise has her hands on everything sweet & cold at Edible Favors. This must be the best part of my job, tasting all the goodness that comes out of her kitchen located in Mount Vernon Marketplace. Chef Denise doesn’t cut corners when it comes to pulling local, fresh ingredients together to make her signature, slow churned ice-cream.
She begins every flavor with local, organic cream & milk. A slow ice-cream churner takes her ice cream to the next level, as she crumbles, chops and drops her flavors into the mix. Oreo-cookies, salty homemade caramels, strawberries, bananas, everything cookie, vanilla beans, chocolate chunks just to name a few flavors. Needless to say, she creates amazing product in her sweet kitchen and the flavors are magnificent.
